This September, the Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management accepted for publication a collaborative research project between Philip Joyce, senior associate dean at the School of Public Policy, and Aichiro Suryo Prabowo, a Ph.D. student at the School.
Joyce and Prabowo’s study analyzed the budget challenges of state and federal coronavirus response programs in the United States and predicted likely future impacts for the next several years as well. This research is notable in that it is one of the first publications to examine federal, state and future budgetary challenges from the pandemic.
The Graduate School offered support to this valuable research by awarding Prabowo a Summer Research Fellowship.
