Breana Stevens is a student in the PhD program at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. She is originally from Mobile, AL, and attended the University of West Florida for her B.A. in International Studies. Following that degree, she completed a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Stevens then attended Rutgers University for her MPP and, upon graduation, began working at the U.S. Government Accountability Office as an Analyst. Stevens research focuses on individual and collective response to neighborhood crime in the U.S.
