Patrick Trujillo serves as an academic advisor for Undergraduate Studies where he supports students as they make the School of Public Policy their academic home. He particularly enjoys meeting with students 1:1, improving student-centered processes, and promoting life design as a framework for achieving (advising) excellence. Patrick believes that the collegiate experience is about self-discovery and developing the tools necessary to live a connected and fulfilling life. He comes to the University of Maryland after starting his advising career at UMBC in 2011 and spending several years in Johns Hopkins University's undergraduate advising office.
Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in education and history at Saint Louis University and earned a master’s in Academic Advising at Kansas State University.
