America is All In’s new in-depth analysis uses a multi-model approach to explore how the U.S. can expand and bolster its carbon sink. Through an all-of-society U.S. climate strategy—meaning integrated action at the federal, state, city, and business levels—current and additional action has the potential to deliver net emissions reductions from forests and farmland by over 70% by 2035 from 2021 levels– keeping the U.S on track toward its 2050 net-zero commitments and paving the way toward a sustainable, climate-resilient future.
