Affiliations:

Xiangwen Fu is a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Global Sustainability (CGS). He is broadly interested in studying carbon emission mitigation strategies and their implications for energy, air quality, and human health using modeling tools. Fu’s doctoral research focuses on exploring demand-side opportunities (e.g., compact urban development) to reduce energy use and carbon emissions from transport and buildings in Chinese cities as well as their air quality and health co-benefits. He holds a Ph.D. in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University, and both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in environmental sciences from Peking University, China.
